Your car gets a signal from a crank sensor and a cam sensor. The signal goes to a computer/modual and then goes out as a signal to the coil. You will need a logic probe tester, DONOT use a test light you my harm the computer. unplug the connector that goes to the coil pack on the valve cover it has four wires.Turn the key on. First you would want to see if you have 12volts to the coil, indicated from the red l.e.d. lit, volts is supplied by a fuse from the fuse block. Next find out if you have a ground indicated by the green l.e.d. lit you will find that you have three that are green. So you will need too check the ones that show green while cranking the engine. To see if you are getting a signal from the computer you will se the logic probe flash red for a split second, it will continue to flash as you crank the engine over. you should have two that flash red.
