Have had several inquires about a milky residue under the oil filler cap, over the past year, should the manifold be pulled and checked.
GM has released a new gasket kit Part#17113137, and throttle body nuts # 11517293. to reseal the upper intake and throttle body gasket. GM site has exact instructions along with affected vehicles. It applies to all Grand Prix models I will bet I replaced a few intake gaskets when this was the problem. As I have said before when you replace the manifold and or gaskets replace the throttle body gaskets also. They recommend lock tite on the throttle body nuts I recommend using lock tite (green) on all throttle body nuts as I have seen to many not really loose but just a half turn off tight and this is enough to cause problems. -------------------- ASE Master Tech
